Dr Marcin Pietrzyk

Founder & CEO

Marcin is the CEO and founder of Unit8.

Before establishing Unit8, Marcin was Head of Big Data & Business Intelligence at Swisscom, leading the data & AI activities. He has experience varying from IT consulting, software development to entrepreneurship. He completed his PhD (data mining and machine learning) in Orange Labs, Sophia Antipolis, France, and was a visiting lecturer for the EMBA program at the University of St. Gallen.

Marcin is also INSEAD alumni. He is regularly advising CxOs on topics related to analytics and has a wealth of experience in using AI, advanced analytics, data science to solve business challenges.

He is a strong believer in engineering for good movement and drives AI for Good activities at Unit8.
