Generative AI has been a cornerstone of our work in 2024, with over 30 projects successfully delivered across industries. Central to this success is Unit8’s GenAI HyperScaler, a platform designed to accelerate the deployment of generative AI use cases at scale. This innovation enables faster time-to-value and ensures that our clients stay ahead in a competitive landscape.

Unit8’s Data and AI Technology Radar: Navigating the Future
Another highlight of 2024 was the release of our updated Data and AI Technology Radar. This curated guide provides actionable insights into the most impactful tools and trends shaping our industry. From the rise of interoperable data lakes to the maturation of the GenAI stack, the radar reflects lessons learned from hundreds of projects.

It’s incredibly rewarding to see clients using its paper version, and nothing delights us more than spotting it later on the coffee tables of data leaders across industries. The radar has become an invaluable resource, helping our team and clients stay ahead in a rapidly evolving landscape and make informed strategic decisions.

Darts: Setting the Standard in Time-Series Forecasting
2024 was a landmark year for Darts, our open-source time-series forecasting library. With over 50k monthly downloads, 8,000+ GitHub stars, and a growing global community, Darts has solidified its position as a go-to resource for time-series analysis. This year, we introduced powerful new algorithms, expanded documentation, and enhanced user support, making it more accessible than ever. Darts continues to empower data scientists worldwide to tackle complex forecasting challenges with confidence and precision.

Recognition and Growth

• Customer Praise: Testimonials from valued clients such as Julius Bär, Weleda, Medgate, Hydro, and Alpiq highlighted the measurable impact of our work.

• Exceptional NPS: Our Net Promoter Score (NPS) reached an impressive 92, reflecting the satisfaction and trust our clients place in us.
• Award-Winning Excellence: Our expertise shone at high-profile hackathons, including Mistral AI’s LLM fine-tuning challenge and a collaborative effort with the Impact Foundation. We were also listed among the top innovative companies in Switzerland, sharing this honor with esteemed clients like SwissRE and Firmenich.
• Giving Back: We supported NGOs like OceanCare, Effektiv Spenden, and Doctors Without Borders, reinforcing our commitment to making a positive impact.
• New Horizons: We entered the German market and are planning to open an office in Frankfurt soon.

• Athens Marathon: A group of Unit8-ers took on the iconic Athens Marathon, showing the same perseverance and determination that drives our work.
• Social Connections: Across the year, we hosted over 60 social events, ranging from board game nights to birthday celebrations, reinforcing our team’s camaraderie and creating countless interactions.
