8 Years of Impact: 2025 Recap

At Unit8, our mission is to help non-digital native companies reach new heights with the help of data, analytics, and AI. As we close the chapter on 2025, I find myself reflecting on a year that has been both challenging and rewarding. Year where we didn’t just follow the AI trend, but actively shaped how enterprises implement it to create tangible business value.

Our Growth and New Milestones

2025 marked a significant turning point in our journey. It is inspiring to see how much we have evolved as we celebrate several key milestones that define our current scale:

• Demonstrating consistent, tangible business impact across our portfolio, as evidenced by our industry-leading NPS of 67%. It’s a clear reflection of the trust our partners place in our capabilities 
• Marking our 8th birthday by reflecting on our journey from a small startup to a leading European data consultancy.
• Growing our team to 150+ world-class professionals, each bringing unique expertise to our mission.
• Becoming an official OpenAI Services Partner, bridging the gap between chat interfaces and business-critical systems to architect scalable solutions.
• Deepening our partnership with Palantir as their inaugural partner in Europe, with half of our team now certified in Foundry to deliver production-ready AI.
• Expanding our physical presence with new offices in Warsaw and Munich, allowing us to better serve our partners in the DACH region and beyond.

Driving Impact Through Strategic Collaboration

This year, our focus was squarely on moving AI from “proof of concept” to “production-ready impact.” Our collaboration with OpenAI was a cornerstone of this effort. As an official OpenAI Services Partner, we spent 2025 bridging the gap between a simple chat interface and business-critical systems. A major highlight was our joint Unit8-OpenAI event in Zurich, where we hosted deep-dive panels and a keynote from OpenAI to demonstrate how to architect sovereign, scalable solutions. We further amplified this message at our flagship Data Connect Event, which served as the premier stage for the OpenAI partnership. By bringing together the wider data community, we moved the conversation from what is possible to the engineering rigor required for secure, enterprise-grade deployment.

In parallel, we have deepened our long-standing relationship with Palantir. As Palantir’s inaugural partner in Europe, we have built one of the strongest engineering teams in the ecosystem, with half of our team now certified in Foundry. 

This year was particularly focused on the Artificial Intelligence Platform (AIP), which allows our clients to leverage large language models directly within their private networks. By combining Palantir’s foundational software with our deep engineering expertise, we ensure that AI is not just experimental but fully operational and secure.

Delivering Business Value Through AI

In 2025, our team delivered over 120 projects, many of which showcased the power of our strategic ecosystem. We focused on creating solutions that provide immediate, measurable results:

• Eliminating $70M in Unintended Risk: We implemented a GenAI solution on Palantir Foundry to detect semantic policy discrepancies across global subsidiaries, effectively removing millions in exposure while streamlining compliance.
• Accelerating ERP Migration: We leveraged Foundry to migrate 20 legacy systems to S/4HANA, using no-code tools to empower business users and drastically reduce technical dependencies.
• Maximizing Underwriting Value: By unifying risk data into real-time dashboards, we secured a 40% premium increase on a key complex deal while saving nearly an hour of manual analysis per case.
• Cognitive Search & Telemedicine: We continued to push boundaries with OpenAI, reducing internal search times to seconds and deploying real-time protocol assistants to help telemedicine agents focus on patient care.

To further lower the barrier to entry for our partners, we officially launched the ChatGPT Wizard. This proprietary accelerator was designed specifically to help non-digital native companies bridge the gap between initial curiosity and enterprise-grade deployment. By providing a secure, structured framework for prototyping, the Wizard has already shortened the ‘time-to-value’ for several of our key clients, allowing them to experiment with LLMs without compromising on security or engineering rigor.

True to our roots, we also continued to give back through our open-source efforts. Our library, Darts, remains a cornerstone of our technical expertise. This year, we reached new heights in our GitHub Star History, surpassing 100k downloads and maintaining our position as a leading library for time-series forecasting.

Our Team, Culture, and Community

At the heart of Unit8’s success is our incredible team. We have always believed that professional excellence and personal connection go hand in hand, and 2025 was defined by the resilience and spirit of our colleagues.

Beyond our professional delivery, this year was a time of deep reflection as we celebrated our 8th birthday. Reaching this milestone provided a moment to pause and reflect on our journey from a small Swiss startup to a leading force in European data consultancy. This anniversary was a celebration of the trust our clients have placed in us and, more importantly, a tribute to the collective passion of our team. We marked this occasion by reinforcing the values that have gotten us here: technical excellence, humility, and a relentless focus on impact.

Our culture is deeply rooted in shared experiences that go beyond our daily tasks, a spirit that was perhaps most visible during our Unit8 Offsite 2025. Standing together as a team of 150 world-class professionals at the “Top of Europe” (Jungfraujoch), 3,454 meters above sea level, served as a powerful metaphor for our collective ambitions and the resilience we bring to every client challenge. This same sense of purpose extends into our everyday lives, where we continue our traditions of community engagement. From shared marathons and legendary board game nights to our commitment to giving back through impactful CSR initiatives and charitable donations.

Looking Ahead to 2026

As we look toward 2026, our strategic goals are clear. We will continue to push the boundaries of what is possible with Enterprise AI, deepen our specialized partnerships, and, most importantly, remain the trusted advisor for companies navigating the digital frontier. Beyond our current strongholds, we are beginning to set our sights on horizons further West, quietly preparing to bring our mission to the other side of the Atlantic.
