Firmenich is the largest privately-owned developer and manufacturer of perfumes and flavors in the world. Since 1895, the company has been innovating in the science of the senses generating a Net Revenue of CHF 4.3 billion in 2021.

In 2018, the company launched its d-lab to improve flavor and fragrance creation through Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) which earned them the Digital Innovation of the Year award 3 years later.

The company has created the world’s first AI flavor and launched the first AI-developed perfumes on the market.
