• Analyze the current state of the migration and the Excel calculations
• Refactor and optimize the calculations for performance and scalability in Foundry
• Ensuring that the data remains accurate and consistent during the migration process
• Scalability: Adapting the calculations to handle larger datasets and more frequent updates in a production environment

Solution

• Engaged in several discussions over 3 months with the business user to thoroughly understand the data and required calculations
• Implemented logical data pipelines to streamline and automate the data processing and calculations
• Developed two informative dashboards to visualize the data and calculations, making them accessible and useful for the business user and his colleagues

• Dashboards enable underwriters to assess the financial standing and credit-worthiness of clients, including large global corporations
• Dashboards facilitate informed decisions and monitoring of account strategies over time (Grow, Defend, Manage, Fix, Prospect, Inactive)
• Users can capture their decision of which strategy to follow with a client in the dashboard and then check back after one or two years whether the captured data over that time period indeed changes toward that decision
• Users can adjust manual decision trees which support in decision-making
